Fairfax City’s Old Town Hall is a timeless venue of heritage and elegance. Nestled in the heart of Fairfax City, the Old Town Hall is a beautiful, excellently maintained memoir of bygone era. Built in 1900 as a gift to Fairfax City by Joseph Edward Willard, the 19th Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, the Hall tastefully combines Tuscan order columns with Federal-style detailing in its stylistically neo-classical exterior. Old Town Hall features hardwood floors throughout the building’s two floored interior, both of which are available to host your next event. Adjacent is the Kitty Pozer Garden, with perennials and shade trees – a true oasis in downtown Fairfax – while the beautiful park at Old Town Square is just a short stroll away.

Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center

One of the best kept secrets in all of Northern Virginia, the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center is Fairfax City’s most versatile venue. A variety of spaces are available to accommodate your event regardless of size – from smaller, more intimate meetings to grand, festive celebrations. Located just steps from great hotel options with airport service from Dulles and Reagan airports, but still just a short stroll from the heart of downtown Fairfax, the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center is a great choice for any function bringing in out-of-towners. Parking is complimentary and ample, while the Center also offers the technical support and state of the art A/V capabilities to make sure your event is a massive hit. Outside, the Center features a beautiful pergola creating a perfect setting for scenic outdoor events, while the beautiful, 20-acre grounds of adjacent Van Dyck Park are easily accessible. Cue bus gold lines offer easy public transit to the venue.

As Fairfax City’s oldest and most historic venue option, Historic Blenheim is a truly unique venue that blends the rich past of Fairfax with the modern amenities of present day. Space is available to host your event both indoor in the multipurpose room and outdoor on the Blenheim grounds, making the venue a great fit for any special event. Inside, a cathedral-style ceiling and historic heart of pine wood floorings provide an air of distinction to any event while amenities include a 60” plasma monitor and Caterer’s Corner. A stunning, glass-roofed lobby atrium, covered veranda porch, and scenic pergola terrace all compliment the rentable space. The grounds of Historic Blenheim offer a beautiful setting to transport your event back in time with a picturesque backdrop of lush lawns, shady trees, split-rail fences, and meandering footpaths.

The Green Acres Center is an adaptable, modern option with a variety of spaces and family-friendly facilities for your event. The rooms at Green Acres Center can accommodate both large and small groups, perfect for baby showers, parties for all ages, dances, and conferences. The Center’s indoor capabilities are complemented by a bright, well-landscaped exterior with various recreational facilities including a large, fenced-in playground, charcoal grills, multiple multi-use fields, bocce courts, and horseshoe pits.
